This is the famous Chief
Chirpa, part of the first wave of French ROTJ cards (look at the big
ROTJ logo like the Biker Scout). At the bottom of the card, you can
see a small part of tape: this was not added and comes from
manufactury. In fact, Meccano bubbles were so easy to remove that they
sometimes fall themselves. To avoid that, some tape was used to help
maintain the bubble. Click here

Le fameux Chef Chirpa,
inclus dans la première série Retour (d'après le gros logo ROTJ
comme le Biker Scout). En bas de la carte on peut voir un morceau de
scotch: celui-ci n'a pas été ajouté, il provient de l'usine. En
fait, les bulles Meccano se détachaient si aisément que certaines
tombaient presque d'elles-mêmes. Pour l'empêcher, du scotch aidait
